The room was so cozy with a comfy duvet and a flat-screen TV. I felt right at home! The free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel was a big plus for me. I could stay connected and share my trip with ease. Having a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries was really convenient. I didn't have to worry about bringing my own.
Personally, I would have preferred if the bathrooms had separate showers instead of shower/tub combinations. But hey, different strokes for different folks!

The location is good. The lake and the old town can be reached in a few minutes on foot. There are enough parking spaces.
The hotel has no elevator. The upper floors can only be reached via a steep - to the 3rd floor via a very steep - staircase.

The location is OK. The staff was friendly.
The house is a bit outdated, so that a renovation would be quite appropriate.

Close to town with a Subway and McDonald's nearby. Bars, pizza places, and a park with a large pond. Good air conditioning and water pressure. Restaurant had great food and the staff spoke English.

We checked in for a night for the third time on the trip to Brittany. The rooms of the hotel have been renovated and are more inviting.
The breakfast was ok, but we remember it in a more versatile way. The gentleman at the reception was business-like polite, but nothing more. This diminishes the otherwise pleasant stay. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed.

We were pleasantly surprised by the abundance and quality of the food at the restaurant. The portions were generous and we heard that people from outside come specially to dine there! The hotel's location, though a bit far from the Bugatti Circuit, was still nice and relaxing with its green lawns and trees. The rooms were comfortable with good quality mattresses and the tea and coffee facility was a nice touch.

Very tasty croissants, good coffee, ham and eggs, fruit and yoghurt for breakfast - more than you would expect in France.
The ceiling was very low (about 2.10 m), so it became very stuffy at night. With the extreme temperatures of 40*C it was difficult to sleep, because you could not ventilate well.

Everything available plus a small gift
It is something out of date

Conveniently located on the main road, this hotel is easily accessible and only a short walk away from the town center. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of fresh fruits, ham, cheeses, croissants, and marmalades. The rooms were cleaned daily, with a change of bedding and towels, which was impressive.
The bed was quite hard, which made sleeping uncomfortable for some guests, and the restaurant was not always open during regular hours. the quoted price differed from what was actually paid, causing confusion for some guests.

Please note that the hotel does not have air conditioning as indicated in your site. Please cotter it as that was my disappointment. As I expected it. Was hot that day and I chose to book it due to the air con.

The efficiency and friendliness of the staff at the front desk were excellent. The property is maintained in a beautiful condition outside and inside. It is conveniently located not far from the highway, yet it is a short walk to the charming town of La Ferte-Bernard. The WiFi functioned well throughout my stay. The coffee/tea kettle is an excellent touch, still relatively rare to find in French hotels. It is a budget hotel that does not disappoint at all for the price and location. It's a good place for a night or two.
The Booked.net site indicated that the property was air conditioned, which it is not. This seems to have been corrected on Booked.net since that time, but too late for my reservation. Fortunately, the weather was cool. The ground floor rooms at the front have doors that open fully, but it is not possible to leave a window open or even partially open to cool the room during the night, which is a huge minus in summer. The bathroom is spacious and the hot water abundant, but, really, they should make it possible to hang the hand-held shower attachment on the wall to take a proper shower.

Convenient location near main road and town centre. Delicious breakfast, with rooms cleaned and bedding/towels changed daily. Friendly receptionist who spoke English and accommodated luggage storage. Spotlessly clean room, tasty breakfast, and late check-out available. Close to amenities and attractions, including Subway, McDonald's, bars, and park with pond. Great air conditioning and water pressure in room. Good food at the restaurant.

Clean and tidy, bit dissappointed that the restaurant was not open, I had not been warned of this although I had only booked the night before and we were very tired and did not really want to go looking for a restaurant.
A very tired decor, needs sprucing up a bit.

The room was fairly small but clean and comfortable. It was good that there was a bath as many places we stayed only had showers. The Hotel was situated well for our travelling. We didn't have time to explore the surrounding area but the Hotel was fine for a quick stopover. We later found we'd left some property behind. Staff responded promptly to my email about this and mailed the lost property to my home address. I am in the process of trying to find out how I can reimburse the Hotel for the postage cost without incurring a heavy charge from my bank.
The restaurant was closed which seemed odd for a Saturday night. We weren't warned about this in advance and were expecting to be able to eat on site. We arrived in heavy rain and didn't want to go far to eat. We were given directions to other restaurants but perhaps due to our lack of French we were unable to find anywhere to eat apart from MacDonalds. Written directions or map would have been useful.
